Per Lorenzo Passi l’arte è un processo creativo in continuo movimento, cambiamento. I suoi progetti artistici, la maggior parte delle volte, si formano sulla base del rapporto che instaura con le persone ed i luoghi che lo circondano e la rielaborazione ed espressione dell’esperienza vissuta. Alle volte oggetti trovati e riutilizzati diventano simboli che rappresentano quello che lo circonda e vengono uniti al vetro per completare la sua visione. Altre volte quel che lo circonda lo ispira e ne nasce un vetro od una composizione che mira ad esprimere l’idea.
Tendenzialmente la ricerca e la sperimentazione attraverso l’unione di più materiali diventano racconto della sua lettura del mondo e della sua volonta’ di trasmetterla.
Alle volte scava nella memoria, soggettiva e oggettiva, attraverso oggetti riconoscibili.
Altre volte si ispira ai sogni, alla natura, altre all’alienazione nelle sue varie declinazioni.

For Lorenzo Passi, art is a creative process in continuous movement; it is change. Most of the time, his artistic projects take shape on the basis of the relationship he establishes with the people and places around him, and by reworking and expressing real-life experience. Sometimes objects found and reused become symbols that represent what surrounds him, and are joined to glass in order to complete his vision. Other times he is inspired by what surrounds him, and a piece in glass is born—or a composition—that aims to express the underlying idea. Basically, research and experimentation through the union of multiple materials become the narrative of his reading of the world and of his willingness to transmit it. Sometimes he delves into memory, both subjective and objective, through recognizable objects. Other times he is inspired by dreams or nature, or even by alienation in its various forms.
